Community hazard reporting for safer neighborhoods

Identify. Verify. Notify.

How it works

Three steps stand between a hazard someone reported and a hazard that got fixed. You take the first one. We take it from there.

1

Identify

You see a hazard. On your daily walk, on your way to work, riding your bike, even on vacation. The tree hanging low over the sidewalk. The raised concrete you always trip on. The loose handrail on the office stairs.

In most cases, the property owner has no idea it's there. You pin it on our simple reporting map, add a photo, and it goes straight to our staff. We handle the rest.

2

Verify

First, we make sure the hazard is real. Our team reviews your report and photos, and when something needs a closer look, we verify it in the field.

Then we track down the owner. City, business, or private homeowner: we do the digging through property and jurisdiction records to find exactly who is responsible for making the repair.

3

Notify

We notify the owner by email or first-class USPS mail. Every notice includes photos of the hazard and a deadline to fix it.

If the hazard looks like a code violation or a major safety risk, we may also alert the city or other agencies that can help get it repaired quickly.

See something unsafe?

It takes about two minutes to report, and you can stay anonymous.
